Product Review- Dry Fruits Powder and Multigrain Health Drink (MyLittleMoppet)

As a mother of a toddler, one of my greatest challenges is to ensure my child gets enough nutrition for both physical and mental development. We all know about kids being fussy eaters and mothers being stressed about the fact that whether they are getting proper nutrition during these growing years. As mothers, we are always on the search for healthy and nutrition-rich food options for our family. This is also important because a healthy and proper diet helps to build the immune system, both in kids and adults, which helps us to fight germs, bacteria and other viral infections.

Generally, kids tend to avoid healthy fruits or vegetables because they don’t like the taste or they don’t like the preparation. Sometimes, even if we prepare it in a different way, then also they don’t want to eat because they dislike the fruit or vegetable in the first place. Same thing happens with dry fruits, or certain pulses.

I admit, I have spent hours browsing through the Internet, looking for options. Then, I happen to stumble upon MyLittleMoppet Shop online. I liked what I saw! There was a wide range of healthy mixes for infants and toddlers, which has a high nutritional value and easy to give them with milk or water. I decided to try the Dry Fruits Powder for Kids and I am glad I did.

The Product: Dry Fruit Powder is a healthy mix of almonds, cashew, pistachio, saffron, nutmeg and turmeric, which can be given to babies above 8 months. It is a coarse mixture, which can be added to warm milk or lukewarm water. This can also be added to pancakes, rotis, desserts or porridge. This needs to be properly mixed before giving it to babies as it contains small solid particles.

The Specifications: As mentioned above, the mix contains a healthy composition of various nuts. Cashews are helpful in muscle and bone development, whereas almonds are known for brain development. Turmeric is a natural antiseptic, nutmeg helps to induce sleep and pistachio is high in fiber. So, you can see that each of these carefully chosen ingredients is helpful for your child in their growing years. Nutmeg is an important part, which is missing in many of the other mixes available in the market. There is no artificial preservative, or added salt or sugar.

It comes in packs of 100 grams, which is reasonably priced at INR 365. You can also get discounts if you have more packs. The packs are in zip pouch form, so it is easy to store them. Ordering is easy on their online portal and you can check the site for Shipping and Return details.

It is very difficult to make your child have these beneficial nuts separately, but this mix combines the best of all these, which makes it easy to provide them the necessary nutrition in one go.

The Origin: One of the most unique feature of the product(s) is that, it has been made by a doctor mom, who used to get a lot of requests from fellow mothers through her blog and interaction. As a mother, she understood the pain point and decided to come up with something as nutritious and healthy as this. This gives an added trust and urge to try out the products, which are made under utmost hygiene and care to ensure it meets the best standards. Surprisingly, all the products are made in their own kitchen by mothers like us, so they know ‘what works well for kids’.

The Usage: For babies, about a quarter spoon of the mix can be added to their porridge initially and then the quantity can be gradually increased. For older kids, 2 to 3 teaspoons can be added to hot or chilled milk. This is also a good energy drink for adults. I prefer giving it to my daughter in her milk once and I myself have it with a cup of hot milk.

The Verdict: As a mother, nothing seems to be enough for our children. But, after trying this mix both for me and my child (who likes it in milk), I am at least assured that she is getting proper nutrition from this drink. I would recommend it to other moms both for infants and older children. Initially, they might not like the taste, but gradually they might start liking the flavours when added to their food in different ways. This is also an answer to another concern of many mothers that is a proper weight gain of their children. Prolonged usage of this mix also helps in facilitating weight gain. Do no forget to check out the MyLittleMoppet Online Store for many such other products for your family, especially for your child.

Conclusion: This is surely one of the best mixes I have tried in recent times. It has been helpful for my daughter.
